Lily flower / Fleur de Lis was created exclusively for Cote Noire by Mélanie Carestia. Top notes of oriental lily, middle notes of bergamot and base notes of dried clove.
Trained by Francis Camail and Michel Almairac, Mélanie Carestia was a perfumer's student then a junior perfumer at Robertet. In 2011, she joined the creation laboratory Parfums Christian Dior under the direction of François Demachy. She later joined Symrise, working in Paris and Dubai to launch several fragrances for Arabian Oud and Al Rehab (Middle East).
Inspired by the smells of nature, especially the orange blossoms of her childhood memories, she relies on images as well as experiences for her creativity.
Eau de Vie and Blonde Vanilla were created exclusively for Cote Noire by Emmanuelle Juilliart.
Eau de Vie features top notes of Mirabelle plum, middle notes of davana flower and base notes of patchouli.
Blonde Vanilla / Vanille Blanche is a stunning Vanilla fragrance with top notes of jasmine, middle notes of coconut and base notes of cedarwood and Tahitian vanilla
Emmanuelle received her degree from the ISIPCA Perfumery School and worked in the research and development laboratory at Lancôme.
Inspired by her curiosity and love of travel, she transforms what she sees and experiences into true perfumed odes. She always seeks to express her sensitivity and bring a modern and unexpected twist to her creations. Her olfactive creations play on the sophistication of the blends to reveal the true emotion of the fragrances.
She has created fragrances for Diptyque, Laurent, Dornel and Comptoir Sud Pacifique among others.
Caroline Mallêjac created the exquisite Charente Rose and Queen of the night fragrances as part of her ongoing collaboration with Cote Noire.
Charente Rose / Rose Des Charentes. A natural rose with top notes of rose petal, middle notes of rose leaf and base notes of white musk.
Queen of the night / Reine de la Nuit - an exotic fragrance with top notes of bergamot, middle notes of tuberose and orange flower and base notes of cedarwood.
Since Caroline was a child, she has kept a fragrance diary describing new combinations of ingredients and classifying every new scent she experienced.
Caroline is a lover of precision and as a Perfectionist, she develops her skills and formulas methodically and patiently. Inspired by fashion and craftsmanship she has developed unique blends for famous French "Maisons de Couture“ such as Givenchy and Marc Jacobs.
She loves to create for the beauty market, where she has signed fragrances for Nuxe Sothys and Payot.
Caroline is fine gourmet and tends to include this playful facet in her olfactory compositions.
